LED rope light controllers can be wired to sound systems and other lighting controllers, and are often used in outdoor concerts, nightclubs, or music videos, and effectively give the idea the light is dancing. This is very difficult to do with individual lighting, but LED rope light is perfectly designed for exactly this purpose.
Installing LED Rope Light
One of the great advantages of LED rope lighting is that it really does act like traditional rope and can be looped over and around objects. In fact you will most likely buy it coiled for easy transport.
The external sheath on the led rope gives a lot of protection, but also makes it easier to handle, so it's possible to attach it to beams, trees, walls etc using clips that can be hammered over the sheath. You do need to make sure you don't damage the internal wires, however the external sheath can take scratches, just make sure you don't break the sheath.
